The Easter Bunny, a great way to put on your socks!
With our first proposal, we would like to teach you how to turn your child’s socks into a pretty home decoration! Yes, you heard it! A pair of socks, a scissors and some tricks will be enough to put your scrap fabric in value! To begin, put the sock in a way that has the heel facing you and cut everything in the middle of the foot. This is how you create the ears of your rabbit.
According to the desired shape, prick the ears of the rabbit without forgetting to cut the excess fabric before returning the sock! Then fill it with cotton wool and close the end with a needle! And to bring the ears closer, pass a thread in their lower part! Using another thread, preferably in color, embroider your eyes! Moreover, for these, you can also use two wooden buttons. For the muzzle, opt for a small pearl of felt or cotton!

Regarding the materials needed to bring a little cheer to your home, you probably already have them in your closet!

- 1 white thread
- a pearl white / pink for the nose
- 2 black pearls for the eyes

- 1 cotton ball for the tail
Easter Bunny DIY: how to make wool pompoms?
First, we must start with the pompons. In order to achieve them, you need a small special machine found in the hobby shops! Of course, there is another way that does not include the machine in question. In this case, it is replaced by a simple fork! This technique you can also find in our article DIY easy sewing .
Manufacturing technique without the pompon machine!
The principle in question proves relatively simple to adopt and consists of wrapping the wool around the fork to obtain perfectly round poms and cozy! The only drawback is that, by adopting this method, your pom-poms will remain relatively small! So you can opt for the fork for making the tail of the rabbit!
Continue with the cutting of the ears. To this end, on the piece of felt, draw two elongated ears and cut them! Using a little glue, then glue the two pompoms that will play the role of the body. To make your softball more stable, you can cut the wool a little on the underside of the body, as shown in the photo above.
Then glue the ears and tail. Do the same with the black pearls that will play the role of the eyes. As for the nose of your cozy four-legged friend, the process is a little trickier, because the muzzle goes with the whiskers. So, before gluing the pearl white or pink, place some pieces of sewing thread. The result, you have it on the following image!
And if you have finished your Easter bunny in advance, why not make a nice girlfriend in gray or brown that will keep him company? By the way, do you remember the technique with the fork, which we mentioned a little ago? Do not hesitate and adopt it when you are making the tail! Thus, the latter will become even more refined and attractive! Let’s continue now with the rest of our DIY ideas to absolutely try! We assure you that there are two such!
