We have already looked at nail deco in several articles full of original ideas . In the current text, we will pay special attention to easy nail art , but super charming, suitable for short nails. It’s a small collection of our favorite summer motifs that can be made at home without any special material. Enjoy and try to emulate or inspire yourself and create your own unique designs to wear during vacations!
An easy summer nail art – what is it exactly?
You’re probably wondering “What’s an easy nail art for the summer?” This is basically a short or medium length manicure that is relatively easy to maintain and simply but beautifully decorated. Most often, the nails are filed in rounded square, oval or almond and take maximum advantage of chic patterns, original colors or both at once. In short, it’s all manicure that makes you happy and does not give you too much trouble in terms of maintenance.
We have already examined in detail one of the most attractive 2017 trends in the art of deco manicure. These are the so-called “negative space” patterns and you can find out everything by following the link below . But what are the other designs that are or will be in the spotlight this summer? Well, some of the simplest, but also the most attractive, include stylized shapes and geometric patterns. Yes, polka dots, metallized striping lines and multicolored triangles are and will stay in the wind!
Easy nail art ideas – peas stay in fashion!
Peas are among the cutest and easiest designs to make at once. As promised at first, you do not have to have a dotting tool or other specialized tools to emulate them. An old ballpoint pen, ordinary hair clip or the tip of a matchstick are perfect for this task. Try in advance, on a sheet of paper, the diameter of the points that each of these improvised manicure instruments will give you and choose the one that you think is the most suitable for the design you have already chosen.
During holidays or evenings with friends, do not worry about opting for bright colors, intense, even fluo. Would you dare azure blue, turquoise green, neon magenta, candy pink, fluo orange and sunny yellow? These are just a few of the many teasing nuances that you can use not only for the “pointillist” manicure, but also for any other easy nail art made during the hot months of the year, especially when you have the opportunity to rest at the beach.
In the office or on a special occasion, you can move towards more or less sober models. Peas, lines and geometric patterns are always possible, but less eye-catching tones are better suited. All pastel colors and natural shades are ideal as a base for a classy and classy manicure. On the photo collage above, you can admire 3 examples of easy nail art that adapts to several circumstances. They are artistic and discreet at the same time, are not they?
Other trendy patterns not to be missed in summer 2017
Except the charming points, the hearts, the leopard spots, the zebra patterns and the mosaics are canon for the summer. A great trick to easily make impeccable hearts is to make two polka dots in color, one close to the other, and gently connect them to the bottom part in V using a toothpick. Clever, right? It turns out that the leopard print is not too complex either. First, apply the bottom that can be white or other light color and let dry completely. Then, do some unkempt stains using a color of your choice, preferably clear, but saturated. Finally, make black outlines around the “spots” by omitting small segments of the perimeter.
Nail art easy to splash in a few simple steps
Another idea of easy nail art that puts the eye full is the splash effect. In order to mimic this design you will need at least 2 colored varnishes, a plastic straw and some pieces of clear tape to protect you from the cuticles. Of course, a latex “peel off” works wonders in this respect, but not all ladies have it. The success of this decor is based on the contrast, so choose a clear background and intense varnish for splashing.
As always, apply the base, let it dry and apply the base varnish (above-white). Then make a barrier of scotch pieces, sticking them on your fingers, as close to the nails as possible. Dip one end of the straw into the colored varnish, orient it just above your nails and blow on the other side. If you wish, repeat the process with a second and even a third color of your choice.
If your splatter is too coarse, bear in mind that the problem may be in the consistency of the varnish. But do not panic ! Varnish too thick can be diluted, and thus saved, with a few drops of acetone remover in the bottle. Finally, all you have to do is clean the skin of your fingers with a cotton swab soaked in solvent. Frankly, this technique may take a few attempts before you master it, but the game is worth it.
Minimalist easy nail art ideas inspired by geometric shapes
In minimalist art we have the sesame “Less is more”. And this maxim is worth more when we talk about the feminine finery. In this vein, the following easy nail art ideas are inspired by the minimalist lines of geometric figures. The first proposition, to be admired above, seems elementary and the explanations on its realization are quite useless. The design, however, seems super sophisticated and adapts to girls of all ages, regardless of their personal style.
“Negative space” scratches (above) are another possibility not to be underestimated if one wants to be in the wind. And when the horizontal or vertical lines are made in white and clear lacquer, this easy nail art results more elegant, but also somewhat bohemian. The second proposal, on the other hand, pushes the limits of the artistic manicure and makes the most of the aesthetic colors. Using his favorite shades, associating them boldly and not worrying about the opinions of others is a sure-fire of success!
This is another easy and super chic nail art that stands stylistically somewhere between the two previous proposals. One has a weighted marriage of powdery pink, white and gold glitter on one side, and bold lines on the other. It is a super refined and glamorous manicure at the same time that could become the tip of a fashionable evening outfit. As time goes by, the designs in our current collection are becoming more sophisticated, but also more appealing.
Easy nail art ideas for novices, beginners and experienced
A parenthesis should be clarified that the phrase “easy nail art” does not mean the same thing to anyone and depends primarily on his past experience in this area. An absolute novice, a beginner and a relatively advanced will have very different ideas about what is simple. In this context, the three illustrated ideas on collage above suggest a certain gradation in the complexity of design. And if the “negative space” nails with horizontal lines are done in a few minutes, the marbled manicure requires patience, while the fine palm leaves require considerable skill and precision.
That being said, the last three ideas in our list are also the most elaborate designs. These drawings are not really manicurist feats, but simply require a firm hand and a fine brush. Such is the case with the beautiful compound sheets by Dina Salikhova, shown in the photo above. By the way, their beauty is further enhanced by the matte-finish “nude” base varnish.
Mandals and flowers are perfect for summer!
The following manicure is inspired by the elaborate patterns of the mandals and is frankly great for the summer thanks to the fresh color palette used to make the drawings full of symbolism. We chose to do not one but 2 accent nails, namely: nails whose decoration differs from that of other nails. This approach is apparently winning because the nail decoration in question has become super attractive, well visible and more original.
We end today’s list with a frankly admirable manicure that could be described as easy nail art only in the case where these tender yellow flowers are stickers. The good news is that nowadays, thanks to stickers, decals, nail tattoos, etc., even ladies who can not draw and can not afford the services of a professional manicurist, can have nails impeccable and beautifully decorated. Whatever your approach to beautify your hands in summer, enjoy your holiday and carpe diem!
